I have used this company for years repairing and installing a new heat pump. They have always been very responsive if there is a problem and I highly recommend them. Great people to work with. I had posted a very negative review of another heating company in the area and I have no idea how it happened, but Rockford Heating an Air was the name on the review. Absolutely nothing but a good experience with Rockford.

Called Rockford heating and & Air conditioning because my furnace was only heating to 60° and the first company that I called to come out did not correctly digignose or fix the issue. Nick from Rockford heating and Air conditioning squeezed me in the same day and fixed the issue quickly and professionally. They even gave a 30 day warranty on the work. I will be using them for all future hvac needs.

I had one of their employees come out to give me a second opinion on work another company said needed to be done on my furnace. I didn't catch the gentleman's name but he explained everything concisely and was very professional. I think from now on whenever I need maintenance or work done on my furnace or AC they will be receiving my business instead of the company I have been using.

Troubleshooting turned into a full furnace replacement. Their quote was fair with a reasonable timeline, and on the day of installation their techs were prompt- even a few minutes early. They finished within the estimated timeline, cleaned up exceptionally well, even hauled the old furnace away so there was nothing to do on my end. They also rerouted the gas supply pipe to a more convenient location and installed a new gas valve, as well as running a new drain line for my humidifier while they were there. I give them 5 stars for performance on the install- very happy with the work!

Had an energy saving heat pump and new furnace with the smart thermostat installed and an induction filter for my house. Very satisfied with Mike and his team of union workers installing the new equipment. Will save me energy and efficiency to go with my solar system using the new heat pump for heating well into winter. Very pleased with the company and knowledgeable about heat pumps in northern climates.

We recently had Rockford Heading and Air Conditioning install a new 90% efficiency furnace. From the initial meeting with Mike to get a quote to the installation of the furnace, we couldn't be happier. Mike is VERY knowledgable on HVAC systems and was able to provide us with all the information we needed to make a decision. Before starting the installation, the installers put a tarp down on our stairs to protect the carpeting and also wore shoe covers. Since our old furnace was an 80% efficiency furnace and the new furnace is a 90% efficiency furnace, the installation required venting out the side of our house which was done very well. We were very pleased with the installation. They left the area clean and explained how the new furnace runs and how it differs from our old furnace. We would definitely recommend Rockford Heating and Air Conditioning!!
